Austin Area Farmer's Markets
One of my favorite things to do is wander through a farmer's market. Local Honey, Fresh Flowers and warm Bread relieve me of a few dollars every time. Having owned a small Farm in Washington and prior to that a Garden Center, a stroll through a farmers market is a happy moment!
In
Austin there are two locations. One is at the
Triangle on Wednesdays from 3 pm to 7 pm. The Triangle is located on
46th Street between Lamar & Guadalupe. Another Austin farmers market meets on Saturdays, year round, from 9 am to 4 pm at
4th and Guadalupe. You can follow this link to more information and timely updates.

The village of
Bee Cave hosts a famers market as well. You can find good things every Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm. Click this link for more info:

In
South Austin there is a farmers market at
2910 South Congress, across from St. Edward's University. It is open on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm year round.

Sunset Valley hosts a farmers market at the
Tony Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road, every Saturday between 9 am and 1 pm. For more info:

The city of San Marcos has a farmers market on Tuesdays from 3 pm to 6 pm. 204 South Edward Gary is where you will find the market.
The citys of
Bastrop, Smithville, and Elgin have farmers as well. In
Bastrop you can find it at
1308 Chestnut Street Friday's from 1pm to 5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
Smithville's farmers market is found at
Main and 1st Street on Thursdays from 1 pm till sellout. If you are in Elgin on a Tuesday, you can find their market at
410 North Main. The Elgin market runs from 1 pm till sellout. Here is a useful link:

The Georgetown farmers market meets at the 400 Block of South Austin Avenue on Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. April to November.
The Round Rock farmers market meets at 200 East Bagdad Avenue (City Hall Parking Garage) Saturdays from 8 am to high noon. April to July.
The
Sun City farmers market meets at the Sun City Village Activity Center on Texas Drive. They meet on Wednesday's 9 am to noon from April to November.
