We just adopted a shepherd mix from this great group on the very last day of October.....Yep, a Halloween Puppy! A puppy has been in our future for quite some time.....then we stumbled upon Austin Pets Alive! We were astounded in regards to the number of dogs and cats that are "put to sleep" each year at the Town Lake Animal Shelter. Austin Pets Alive has made it their mission to make Austin a no kill city. They were careful with the adoption process, yet the process was streamlined. Our new puppy was in the care of a foster mother, and she was obviously loved. (thank you Jessica) Austin Pets Alive was proactive in caring for the immediate medical needs of our puppy and she came to us spayed and with all of her shots current!
